Board of Advisors

Antonio J. Delgado, Jr. has a long history of providing business development and management consulting support to a variety of government and industry clients. He formerly served as the Senior Advisor to the Sergeant at Arms, U.S. House of Representatives for the 117th and 118th Congress. From 2005 to 2013 he provided contractual support as Senior Advisor to the Office of Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Delgado’s career spans both the public and private sectors and he has effectively integrated the business community into intelligence and homeland security work.

Mr. Delgado has nearly three decades of in-depth experience across the Intelligence Community in personnel, physical, technical, programmatic and operational security business areas. He has held executive-level positions at the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office, and the Intelligence Community Management Staff. At the time of his retirement from the CIA in 2004, he was the Special Assistant to the Director of Central Intelligence for Security Evaluation and the Director of the DCI Center for Security Evaluation. Here he managed an IC staff composed of senior personnel from CIA, National Security Agency, Department of Defense, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of State that supported the DCI in his protection of sources and methods information in U.S. diplomatic facilities abroad against hostile actions by foreign intelligence services.

Mr. Delgado is the recipient of many government awards including Intelligence Community’s National Medal of Achievement; the Presidential-level Meritorious Officer Award; CIA’s Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal; Intelligence Commendation Medal; and the D/CIA’s Pioneer Award for his efforts to ensure diversity across the Agency. He has also received the Directorate of Operations Clandestine Service Award; Senior Intelligence Service Performance Awards; numerous Exceptional Performance Awards and Letters of Commendation.

Mr. Delgado currently serves on the Board of Directors of the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, is an Advisor to the Central Intelligence Retirees Association Board of Governors and the Council on Intelligence Issues. In addition, he is the past President of the National Military Intelligence Foundation, and Vice President of the National Military Intelligence Association.

Mr. Delgado earned a BA from the University of California at Los Angeles and completed a program in National and International Security at Harvard’s JFK School of Government.
