We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Functional Support Manager/Specialist to join our team in the greater Washington, D.C. area, and play a critical role in providing top-notch support to our clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients requiring functional support for our security information management software product suite. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients on the functionalities of our security software, empowering them to utilize the system to its fullest potential. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service, troubleshoot possible complex issues, and offer effective solutions promptly to ensure client satisfaction and optimal system performance. 
  • Collaborate with our technical and development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. 
  • Utilize your prior experience with Industrial Security Information Management to understand clients’ needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements. 
  • Assist with functional implementation of new clients, ensuring a smooth and seamless integration of our software into their existing infrastructure. 
  • Stay up to date with security industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve support processes and deliver top-quality service. 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in a Functional Support role within a security software company is desirable. 
  • Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO), an Assistant FSO, or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) is a significant advantage. 
  • Proficiency with SIMS (Security Information Management Software) is essential. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and effectively work with internal cross functional teams. 
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and autonomously. 
  • Self-starter with flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and client needs. 
  • US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a US security clearance if required. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer/laptop. 
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times 
  • Position requires 25% travel (at most)
