Driver Installation

The SIMS installation will automatically install the Parallel Port driver for your version of Windows.  If you are using a USB key, then install the USB key driver on the PC the USB key will be attached to by running the SSD5411-32bit.exe from the SIMS CD's SSD folder.  ***Be sure the key is not connected when installing this driver!***

The driver allows SIMS to communicate with the SSD via Windows and the parallel port or USB port.  This should only have to be done once for the workstation when SIMS is first installed  The Parallel Port Driver installer is included with the 6.12 Installation.  The USB driver needs to be installed from the CD directly.
